This community training will explain current drug trends; including identifiers, logos, and clothes to demonstrate possible high-risk behaviors in youth. This presentation explains the current drug and alcohol terms in simple language for each attendee to apply what they learn in their community, school, or even at home.
This session will not only identify what some of those products are, it will show attendees behaviors associated with them and how that can impact a young person, family or community, who might be associated with this environment.
This training session has visual aids for interactive learning.
Where: Wayland Union High School Fine Arts Center
When: August 20th 6pm-8pm
Who should attend: Anyone that has tweens and teens, and anyone that works with them in any capacity
All attendees who register online will be eligible to win one of 4- $25 gift cards.
Light refreshments will be provided before the presentation.
The event is free for everyone, but we still ask that you RSVP to help us plan for food and presentation materials.
