Goal
The Van Buren Substance Abuse Task Force (VBSATF) builds on culture to educate, promote, and enforce what is the best for the health and safety of Van Buren County residents.
Mission
We provide a community collaborative approach to address consequences of existing and emerging issues associated with the use, abuse, addiction, and manufacturing of methamphetamine, prescription drug, alcohol and other drugs through education, community outreach, and enforcement.
We invite you to sit in on a VBSATF Meeting
During meetings we discuss the prevalence of different drugs occupying and affecting our county. We brainstorm ways to prevent drug use from occurring and what is currently being done to help those who are affected by drug use. Our committee reports on prescription drug abuse, drug abuse treatment, and drug abuse prevention trainings. If this sounds like something you could contribute to please join us!
The Van Buren County Substance Abuse Task Force meets the 3rd Thursday of Every Month from 10:30am-12pm.
