    What Substances Are Teens Using?

Alcohol is the #1 substance used in the last 30 days, with marijuana and e-cigarettes/vaping second. Many teens report experimenting before the age of 13.

Several surveys completed by youth in the West Michigan area:

    • The Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth (2023/2024) or " MiPHY" Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth (MiPHY) – Michigan Substance Use Disorder Data Repository
    • Ottawa County Youth Assessment Survey  Ottawa County Youth Assessment Survey
